Braided line?

How often do you replace the stuff only use it about hand full of times just wondering thanks

Heat and sunlight don’t degrade it like you will find with mono.

If you are only using a handful of times a year. I would say you can get away with using it for a couple years.

Keep your eyes open for any abrasion.

On my muskie rods I pull all the line off and run it back on again backwards. Put the used line on the bottom of the spool and you will get two years out of the braid. Works great because there is a lot of line on the bottom of the spool that never sees the light of day.
