I bought an Edge 3. I am between adding a Lowrance 5200c for just gps with the Vexilar Edge 3 or going only with a Lowrance lcx27c for both gps and depth finder in one unit. Anyone have any ideas or opinions on this?
The Vexilar Edge 3 is a very nice unit. I’d just add the 5200c.
I don’t know much about the vexilar edge although I have heard that they are nice units.
I just bought an LCX-27c for the front of my boat so I can’t tell you much about that one either.
I did have two LMS-520c’s on my boat last year and the only thing that I did not like was the small screen.
If all you want is GPS you could get yourself a Lowrance 5150c instead of adding a GPS/Sonar combo.
They might be a little cheaper. Godd luck and good fishin’
