I just learned today that my Skeeter tiller with a 150 Yamaha will be coming with the hydrolic (sp?) assist done by Yamaha. It sounds like Mertens was directly involved with the design so it should be very good.

Anyone that’s thinking about a high HP tiller will now have an option other than the Mercury “big tiller”.

It’s not a rumor, mine will be here in about 3 weeks.

Tim Merten has made power and non power tiller assist for around 5 years now.

Enginesteer is the powered one and Titan the non powered.

I put the Merten power steer on my 2007 Yamaha 90 tiller. Frankie’s out of Chisago City did the installation.
