Problem Viewing Wing Dams

I am running 2-LMS332c and 1- LCX27c with 2 Navionics Gold Rivers North Chips. The problem I am having is that the wing dams show up barely visible and are depicted in faint red or pink. It happens with all 3 units and both chips.
332c and 27c are a year apart as are map chips. Have talked
to both Lowarance and Navionics and each says it is the others`problem. Navionics says the the wingdams should show black which they do on Navionics Cardreader. So I have
tendancy to believe them. It helps to switch the units over to nite viewing as the wingdams show up white but they still can be a problem to view in brite sun. Have also tried shades and playing with contrast, sensitivity and brightness without and satisfaction. Anybody else come across this problem and were you able to resolve. Thanks in advance.

What year are your chip? Thought the older navionics chip only showed the dams as thin lines.

They were purchased 2 and 3 years ago.

They are thin lines on my Navionics chip. I guess I have just got used to it. I know Mike is running the Lakemaster and they jump off the screen. I’m looking at making the switch this year.
