Sunglasses…Natives or…??

Did you see any difference between the Cheaper polarized lenses (Brown,green,gray) and the Reflex lenses? I personally liked the Dash XP’s myself and was thinking about getting them with the copper reflex(rose) colored lenses, but maybe those are not dark enough lenses. I’m sure you have checked out the native website and looked at the different percentages of light the lenses let in. They are $135 at scheels, but I was thinking about ordering online maybe, cant really find an extremely good deal anywhere yet though.

I wanted a “middle of the road” lens, something for all days, be it cloudy, bright, etc…I didn’t want something that’s great for bright days and not cloudy and visa versa. The grey lens seem like they would be real nice for the high sun, real bright days…but not so much for the overcast days, in the store which was bright, they seemed really dark. The green didn’t seem to give enough protection for those high sun days, they seemed really bright, let to much light in. So I chose the brown which for me seemed to be a good compromise and I liked the clarity the best anyway. I actually couldn’t get them with green lens’s unless i order a set, either brown or grey but I did try the dash with green lens’s, green simply isn’t for me, might be great for others though.

What I’ve read about the reflex lens’s…they supposedly scratch really easy??, the online reviews aren’t real good on the reflex for that reason. The salesman said the same, something about the coating. Plastic lens’s scratch easy to start with, I didn’t want something that is even more “fragile”. I tried on a few pair with the different reflex lens’s, to be honest I couldn’t tell a difference, things weren’t crisper or better IMO, but I did like the rose reflex!! The color and clarity was just nice, easy on the eyes. Seem like they’d be great for overcast days! I just kept going back to the hardtop xp with the brown lens, they fit me the best and the color was good for me.
