Might want to consider the drive up to Big Lake. They charged me quite a bit less than $25, but this was a few years ago, and it’s a chance to get replacement blades, bait pucks, etc.
I broke mine when it was -24 on LOTW 2 years ago. They replaced it for me pretty cheap at the factory in Big Lake. Two weeks later my Dad pulled the recoil out (short strokes ) and they wound it back up for free. I might have to quit being so hard on my stuff.
I’ll be stopping in myself later in the week for a couple sets of new blades for backup and a tune up on my 224 so its ready to go for the “thick ice” part of the year. Plus I need a 10 inch auger for lakers and pike in March.
