I have an 03 Pro-V. I am in the process of re-vamping the livewell system. The guy I bought the boat from disconnected one of the recirc. pumps. I am re-hooking this back up. It is the flow-rite system.

In the livewell I have the power stream livewell filler. I am trying to figure out what this nozzle is on the right? Anbody know what this is?

I may be off the mark, but all I’ve ever owned is Lunds, and that looks like the normal spray nozzle. I have never owned a pro-V but my Fisherman and Explorer both had those nozzles only for the timed livewell. They are threaded and you can turn them clockwise to shut off the flow and counterclockwise to open them or increase the flow of water into the livewell. Both of my previous boats have had 2 livewells and if I turned on the Aerorater/Livewell, both would fill up unless I screwed one down. I hope this helps, like I said, my Lunds didn’t have the tube on the left and that is probably part of the flo-rite system.

The tube on the left side simply pumps fresh water into the bottom of the live well when is turned down. (like pictured)
It can be turned horizontal as well where it will pump water into the top of the live well.

I run a Pro V also but do not remember seeing a second line like that. May have to take a closer look at it tonight.
My guess is that it is the fresh water pick-up line that lunds have.
You should have a hole in the hull of your boat. That is where the fresh water enters when the boat is on plane.
Dump some water in that line and take a look at the fresh water pick-up hole.
If water runs out, thats what it’s for!

I kind of doubt it but could it be for an optional wash down system.Best bet is to maybe call a dealer or trace it back to where it goes.To the pump or overflow etc.

I’ve tried tracing it back but I can’t find where it goes. I might have to try the dumping water down it to see if it comes out the side. Thanks.

I’ve got an older Lund Pro V but its in storage. My guess would be its an overflow outlet. Unless you see an overflow outlet somewhere else in your livewell. Mine also has a similar looking livewell and fills from the bottom. I guess I’ve never paid attention to where the overflow comes from.

Sorry Kirt, the overflow is on the other side of the livewell. The side pictured on my wheel boat goes into the storage compartment where the oil reservoir is.

Is that a nozel or a plug.Being on top it is either a sprayer/airator or an overflow.I doubt an overfow as it would have a larger opening. If your going to run anything threw it this time of year use RV antifreeze so it doesnt freeze up.

If that is the rear livewell, the second (small) sprayhead is the freshwater pickup: there is a small “scoop” on the bottom of the hull that pushes water through a hose to this fitting, aerating the livewell while under way (the normal aerator pump intake is in the transom and mostly out of the water while on plane).

That must be the fresh water pickup. The end is threaded so you can screw it in or out I’m guessing to shut it off or control the amount of water that comes in. Thanks guys.

you got it, that’s exactly what it’s for. you should have a switch for each livewell though don’t you? so if you just want to fill the rear well, you shouldn’t be getting water in the front well.
