Pretty cool, but I could see it breaking and malfunctioning at some point. With my luck especially.

Looks ok, but I really wonder about the maintenance on it and long term performance.

Would be handy when a guys alone. If theres 2 of you though I would be pulling off the ramp long before that thing gets locked down.

I seen at the Mpls Sport show, I dont like the way the rope runs along the paint. A few times up and down and there goes the paint. This is just my opinion…

    Too noisey…

Plus is has the potential to eliminate any boat launch entertainment/mishaps….

noisy and slow would have been outta the water and strapping down by the time it got up all the way. Neat idea though especially for an older person.

Ummm….. If you are thinking of getting one, you first need to get your boat out of the garage

    Ya, who needs that?
    We want entertainment!

Why is it funny? Cuz it ain’t you, that’s why.

Pretty much the same thoughts as the rest.

I could see it being really handy for fishing alone, or for older folks.

I’m pretty sure I’d be way faster and more effective without it, and like was mentioned, I think it would be hard on the paint.

I’d also like to see how effective it would be with the wind howling and a nice chop rolling into the launch…

That is a pretty neat deal, but i just don’t see the practicality of this unless you regularly fish area’s w/o docks. I find just keeping a pair of waders/muck boots/hip waders does the trick!

I do see where it could be good for older people though!

when going down the road, those ropes would work right through the finish on the boat. looks like an exspensive gimmick to me.
