hydraulic jack plate

    hey guys new to the site. thinking about getting a hydraulic jackplate for my boat i currently have a manual one and was wondering how much of a difference it would make and is it worth the money? the boat is a 198 dc champ

    Depends what you are trying to accomplish with your boat. More speed ? Better performance ? What size motor ?

    i was wondering how much it would help when trying to take off in shallower water being that im on the river quite a bit this would help in a lot of situations. would it help much more on top end? the motor is a 225 opti
