Pro’s: Warm, nice floor to keep you insulated from the ice, easy setup(5 mins), small footprint when stored, easily fish two guys and all your junk.

Con’s: Not as mobile as a flip over shack. Can’t store the junk like a tub style shack.

In my opinion, they are pretty nice shacks for two people. My cousin has another brand, but same size. We’ve spent a lot hours in it and no complaints from me. We didn’t move as much as we probably should have sometimes, but I’m out there to relax.

I will ditto waterfowlers comments as well. One additional inconvenience is putting the canvas on with one person in the wind can be a bit overwelming, not imposible by any means. I had one for many years and it did the job very well. I bought my clam and fishtrap when they first came out. Loved them both for different reasons. My fishtrap has many more miles on it however.

Overall a good unit to fish from.

I’m not a fan of the stand up shacks. I believe the flip over style shacks are better all around. I used to own a Fish Trap II and enjoyed that very well…Now I own an Otter Medium Cabin.

This makes for a very nice 2 man house or a extremely big 1 man house. It is the perfect combination of weight and size in a very portable house. Available in forest green or purple.

Check out their web site for more details http://www.otteroutdoors.com
