I think there are some really great products on the market right now. It’s so nice to have all the choices we do, from $86.00 to $1000.00’s. The Lowrance X15 is nice unit. I’m not familiar with their color units, but I hear they are really nice. The pinpoint 7520 is also a great unit. The Garmin 2010 looks like an awesome unit also. Again, no first hand knowledge due to the price range for me.

If the unit were a grapf only (no GPS) it would be the Vexilar Edge.

If the unit were graph/GPS combo, and money was no problem… I’d put one of these on the dash!

The Lowrance x-15’s are my fav right now. However the X-104 “big screen” would be a pleasure to run!!

If it were sonar only (no GPS) and money were no object (wouldn’t that be nice) I would have a Lowrance LCX-19C Color on my boat.

I’ve not used any of the new high-end color units… they are and will remain out of my price range unless I win the lottery or something. Of the units mentioned so far, the Pin-Point 7400’s & 7500’s are fantastic units. I’ve heard very good things about the Edge as well.
