Looking for some help here,
I just got out my Etrex legend to use for the weekend, and put the correct new batteries in the unit and started it up to see if it would work properly. Unfortunately it did not work right, the unit will lock the satellites in and then within a minute or the next time you push a button the unit will freeze up and make a vertical line through the unit, making the unit useless.
Any help from the electronics geniuses would be greatly appreciated
If the unit is broke for good or needs to be sent in for repair i think i will be looking for a different brand, the unit i have is only a couple of years old and i have hardly used it
