Just began shopping around for a 40hp tiller. Seems like every major manufacturer makes one. I have 7 different quotes to consider. Right now I have the best $ quote on a Honda. $1200 cheaper than a Merc, and $1500 cheaper than a Yamaha….Evinrude needs to be embarassed about the local dealer that I have….waited for 6 days and can’t get a quote from him. Anyone have an opinion good or bad about Honda motors….I have reservations already about availability of dealers in case I am out of town on a trip and need service or parts. Please reply with your thoughts.
