Just had one of those great screw ups and was wondering about some help on fixing it without having to send the boat to the shop.Last week a friend helped load the boat and left the master switch on.This weekend we went back out and dead batteries.Dad hooked up the jump box backwards and the battery was so dead no sparks or anything but engine didnt start it drained the jump box.After taking out the battery and charging it I put it in and everything started fine and ran.Only problem seemed to be a blown fuse on the radio.After it ran a little the voltmeter just creeps lower and lower.The battery seems good.It takes quite a while to go down but over time it drops.It will slowly run to a point the motor will die.Is the alternator shot, a breaker of some sort blown or any good ideas on what to check.Dont really want to haul the boat a hundred miles to check it out if it is something I should have figured out.Thanks for any help in advance.
