Ok, first time boat owner, this motor was rebuilt about 2 yrs ago (have the paperwork). It started up fine before I purchased it, I got it home and it fired up for about 10 sec and when the water started coming out the hose on the side it would die. It acts like its flooded, I’ve pulled the plugs and they are soaked but will not light when hit with a torch, even with new gas and cleaner added to fuel. I’ve pulled all the fuel hoses and primed the bulb and have fuel alteast to the mixer. Is there anything that would cause this to happen? Floats sticking? I’m pretty green on 2-strokes, but i’ve done my 3 step as far as fire, compression, and fuel. Trying new plugs tommorow.
