2003 merc 125 RPM’s

    Would anyone have any idea why my merc 125 be pushing 1200
    RPM’s when idling, and trolling? I’m not really sure when it happened, but it was idling in the 600-700 RPM range where it
    is suppose to. Don’t want to have to take it in, if i don’t have to. Going fishin tomorrow. Thanks
