After waiting weeks to get my JM Signature Series spinning reel (backordered) I can’t believe how disappointed I am in the quality of it. In particular, when you stop reeling the spool will reverse a little, probably only a 32nd of an inch, but still irratating. It would be nice if the thing locked instantly but it won’t. Has anyone had any experience with these reels? Is that normal?
It is going to be returned and exchanged for a Pflueger. It is disappointing to pay that much for a reel with so much hipe, 11 bearings, big spool, casting distance, ect, and get that kind of product. Nice to see a little “made in China” sticker on the seat of it as well. 
Not that I’m surprised.
Funny thing is that you can’t find the reel on the BPS website now.
