I picked up a couple baitcast rods (one medium 6.5′ and one medium/heavy 7′) today while checking out reels that I had read about here and other sites. I’m trying to decide between the accurist PT, the Revo S, and the citica. I thought of those three the accurist PT felt the smoothest in my hands, but nothing compared to the Revo SX. Would I go wrong with any of them? Part of the reason I’m leaning towards the accurist is that there’s a $30 rebate, and I think I can get the reel for $90 on ebay (checking with quantum to see if they honor ebay store receipts for the rebate).
Others out there that I should consider? (~$100 price point)
