I like to use 6lb Fireline or Powerpro for my main line. I then tie on 6lb Vanish for my leader. I usualy run my leader about 8-12 feet long!

I like to use light fluorocarbon for the leader and fireline for the mainline. I keep my drag set pretty light to avoid pulling the hook out on the set.

For my main line I usually use Fireline. Might make some switches over to PowerPro with some of them. Nothing like that superline for feeling everything on the bottom.

fireline has been my main line very type of fishing I do. I do add a short piece of mono, it sure helps if your changing jigs alot, it also gives a little bit of a shock absorber to your system.

6lb main line Fireline with good old trilene 6lb xl for the rig. #4,6 or 8 hooks depending on time of year and what live bait. Lengths are 8 to 12’ers. Colored bead too most of the time.

Hey guys that are running braid for your main line. Is fireline or power pro better? Does power pro bind and dig in like fireline does? And are you running a little bit of mono backing before you spool up with braid?

Has anyone tried Stealth as a main line braid? I know some guys like it for trolling but what about jigging and rigging main line??
