    Heading 2 Cabela’s end of the week 2 unload my wallet

    Need 2 know about butt seat or leaning post.

    Was wondering what some of the IDO members have been using?

    Pro and Cons on this issue?

    Thanks 4 any past or present experiences

    Here’s the set up I used to have.

    And the seat from Cabela’s as well:

    Was a great set up; I used it primarily as a leaning post. Worked great for pitching jigs to crappies all afternoon.

    I bought a nice one and dont using it nearly as much as I thought I would. For the hours I fish I usually end up just standing and when Im really lazy I plug in a chair. Im sure there are plenty of people that cant live without them.

    Got all these parts at Cabelas. Works alright for me.

    I have a springfield adjustable post with a cheap fleet farm seat($15). The seat is ok, but not firm enough to use througout the day. It is too soft so you sink down to the metal/wood bottom. Look for a seat that is somewhat firm. It will be more comfortable in the long run.
