    How valuable of an item do you think this will be for the average walleye fisherman?

    From what I’ve read and seen there doesn’t seem to be many
    cons other than the price tag.

    If it is does all this;

    “This unique software-driven sonar optimizer produces peerless echo clarity and displays the most striking underwater definition ever achieved. It delivers digitally-purified marking/separation of fish, structure, thermoclines and bottom, while virtually eliminating surface and turbulent water clutter. It also extends sounding depths to thousands of feet without loss of bottom readings.”

    They also claim;

    “Automatic operation at any frequency selected: 50, 83 and 200 kHz”

    I guess you would be automatically getting the most you
    could out of your sonar without even having to learn how
    to adjust it manually. I think this may solve some of the shallow water reading problems as well.

    i wonder how it would work on a river? It is really hard for me to eliminate clutter on the river, this would be really nice to see in action.

    Corey,

    Do you think my “fluidity” would improve if I changed my avatar?

    Been looking around for one, BPS sells the sounder but not the ethernet box, at least its not listed on the website. Cabela’s lists the ethernet box and not the sounder Figure that one out, I emailed Cabela’s and they sounded like they had never heard of it and were not planning on getting it??

    Poked around found sounder listed one place for $523, out of stock of course and no reply to an email. I am not sure about some of the sites I looked at while researching this new toy.

    Any chance Wade will get any of these?

    Looks like a nice feature. They finally admit a better picture comes from less power…

    Sweet thanks for finding those, I been looking almost daily at both sites to see if they were gonna show up. Wonder what I was doing wrong to find the sounder but not the ethernet box?
