In ready some other posts and researching the purchase of a locator, I’ve seen some claim to have 4,000 watts of power. Can somebody explain to me how the locator can have 4,000 watts of power when the main power is fused with 3 or 5 amp fuse? 4,000 watts at 12 volts would be 333 amps! I’m not understanding the power rating – I’m guessing its a marketing measurement meant for comparison purposes- either that I did alot worse in physics class than I thought!
