Has anyone around here used grizzly ice rods. I have owned one for the past 8-9 years and I finally had the tip go out on me (my fault). I didnt hesitate to pick up a couple more. Their UL are great noodle type of rods if thats your thing. I’m just asking because I’ve never heard them mentioned really. They are made in Alma, WI.

Anyone ever use their summer rods? Website can be found here

Well, since it doesn’t look like many people have used these rods…I would highly recommend them!I had the polar bear UL for the last 9 years. I picked up one of their cub’s(performed wonderfuly on a 13″ crappie yesterday) and grizzly series last week. They aren’t too spendy either.

Is there a local store that sells these rods? I would like to feel it in my hand and take a closer look.

I’m sure they are found in more places, but I got my original one at Scheels in Eau Claire. The recent ones I got at the sporting goods store in Durand.

They are not made in Alma but the guy who distributes them[Grizzly’s Tackle] is. I think Lee at the Main Channel has some or you could call Dale Gleffe in the Alma phone book. PS. I have a prototype of one of his 5 1/2 ft panfish rods that I think is really great.
