As I build my new boat costs are starting to become an issue. I know it came highly recommended that I purchase two units, one for the counsel and one for the bow but how hard is it to move a Lowrence 520 or similar such unit from consel to the bow and back again, even if it is just temporary until the coffers fill up again. I want to go external antennae. So I guess to do this I would need two bases, two feeds from the external antennae, one to bow and one to the counsel. And a plug at the bow for the transducer on the trolling motor and another for the rear transducer at the counsel. Is this set up doable and functional?
