H2oc won’t show lake contours?

I just bought a new H2OC and i got a Navonics N chip on ebay and tonite I am trying to get it to work. I can’t get any lake contours to show up when I zoom in. I’ve tried reloading the chip a few times. I am in advanced mode and it asks me which Navionics chip I want to use in the menu but it has about 6 choices along with a Miami demo one. When I try it without the chip is says Lowrance or Miami demo. So it looks like it is reading something on the chip. I am wondering if the chip is bad or am I not doing something right.
