Always the skeptic, I was thinking about this too…

1st was the FTR stickers and clothing
    2nd was the EFN stuff
    No In-depth angling????

What business are you in James-fishing or mass marketing? This is getting as bad as sports teams changing jerseys every year.

Be warned we are onto you

The name of this place will be In-Depthangling for now and forever. Sorry for the change guys. It was NOT to sell a few more hats, trust me.

Time will tell. You know what Jon J told me: “All fisherman lie, except you and me. And I am not so sure about you.”

I think I will be able to get the new indepthangling hats from the same guy that was selling James’s fishing video from the trunk of a “74” caddy in a dark alley in Traer Iowa. I’ll keep you posted.

I don’t even have a response to this Dave beyond the name is the name and will be always be the name. Besides, I lose money on the hats. A little on each and every one sold. I can’t buy them in huge lots from China like Wall-mart does. If it was about selling hats and making money off them, don’t you think they’d be available by now?

It really doesnt matter to me one way or the other. I dont judge people by the cap on their head, but by the content of their character. And you are OK in my book James.

He’s OK as long as he isn’t playing king on the tube behind a 620.

Nice to see you guys got on the same page there! Shoot, I was laughing pretty hard up until the “uh-oh” part!

In light of the old materials, that I can vouch for how much James does put IN to these things, I think they’re good for “seniority status”. No extra perks or priviledges but just a good way to say you’ve been around a long time! Anyone 10 years from now that has an In-Depth Jacket or Patch on a jacket, wearing an EFN hat, and has an FTR decal on his tackle box is going to have a BOATLOAD of stories to tell and will most likely be catching fish like NOBODY’S business! I’d never wear it all for a tourney win/pic but it’s cool for nostalgic purposes. It resembles everything it was and how it came to be what it now is. Maybe it’s not as special to some, but no matter the details, we were all in it together, it was a special place then, we’re all still in it together, and I believe this will be a special place throughout our tomorrows.

Yes, there has been a name change….but people will follow. I had a guy fishing next to me the other day here on Mille Lacs. He asked me about my FTL sticker on the side of the boat and my relationship with it. Well I went on to explain it and found out he has visited both FTR and FTL and had them in his favorites! He said I’ll just have to change his link to In-depthangling……….

It’s amazing the people you run into that know the site. Dman said, he ran into puddlepounder in the Isle SuperValue the other day!!!! We are all over and still growing.

    Dave B,
I told everybody not to call them STICKERS!!!!
    BTW,
the decals were not profit-motivated in any way, shape or form. They were a give-away for some of the earlier members. A buddy of mine designed them and my company produced them. It was a fun project and no dinero was exchanged. We received gift certs. for the effort. (which we haven’t used!!??)
James, is there a time limit on those??
Kind of goes to show you how this has all evolved.
How are the walleyes biting? Isn’t that really the most important thing??

Hey Steveo-when you have a 3 year old….if it sticks, then it is a sticker! Stickers, tape, bandaids, post-it notes…all stickers and found all over everything.

BTW-I had my Culpepper jersey on for the game last night and she said, “Look daddy, he is wearing YOUR shirt.” To which I replied, “Yes he is honey.”
