Prop ????

    What size prop should be used on 175 merc on 19’6″ nitro. I have no clue what I should look for when it comes to pitch, diamitor, or number of blades. What is on now is a SS, 3 blade with a 23 pitch, diamitor unkown.

    The mercury web site has a prop selector page. It suggests a Tempest Plus in 25 pitch for a 175HP EFI engine for a boat that size. Try it yourself at; Prop selector.
