Has anyone tried the new Stren Super Braid yet? web page

This sounds like it addresses some of Fireline’s shortcomings regarding fraying, fading, etc. and I have to admit I was never a big Trilene fan.

I haven’t tried it… but the high-vis stuff might find its way onto a reel of mine.

Gander Mountain has it but only in 65lb. From what I read, it strongly resembles Power Pro’s construction…………the whole Spectra Fiber thing. No price on it at the time I spotted it. If it’s as good as Power Pro but cheaper, I’ll be gettin’ an order into Bass Pro soon!

I tried that new spiderwire stealth. I have mixed feelings about it. I mean i broke it when casting. but could not break it when snaging a tree. i left lots of line in the water that day and lost 2 lures. but i would interested in hearing how this stuff does.
