I posted this in ice fishing forum too, this gear forum may be more appropriate Can someone tell me if its worth the time effort or money to convert an existing graph I have which was a take-off from a boat I bought. I think the model is a Lowrance X-50, your basic monochrome type graph. I believe I can buy a bullet transducer for it (same one thats used for the x-68, and x-68 ice sonars) How useful would something like this be? I dont really want to shell out for a new vex or marcum since I really wont get my money’s worth since I dont fish a ton. I just figured if I could work with what I have I would invest in a transducer and battery to make this thing portable. Is this worth my time and minimal money??
