How do you fog a 4-stroke with EFI? There is not a carb to take off or air intakes that are obvious.

I just went through this with my MERC 25 efi/4 stk.
My MANUAL says, put the winter fuel stabilizer (sta-bil etc.) in your gas tank, run the motor for ten minutes, disconnect tank then take out plugs, squirt some oil in cylinders and turn over engine a couple of times and you are done. (make sure you put plugs back in).

Mine has a little hole in the intake that it says to spray into with the motor running. Or spray it right into the air intake.

There is really no need to fog a 4 stroke.

I add the fuel stabilizer to the full gas tank and run it awhile. I will also change my engine and lower unit oil at this time. Just park it for use in the spring….starts up just like a new one!!!

    Love it!!!

Thanks for the info guys. I have a Yamaha-50 and the manual says to fog the engine in the “Prep for Storage” section. I already did the Stabil, engine oil, and lower unit oil. From the resposes I am still up in the air about fogging. Guess it is time to call the dealer.
