I have the LMS332c with the external puck on my tiller and where it sits on the boat does not show North, S, E, and W properly. In addition, the lake is not in the same direction as the boat. It appears that if the screen was on a console and you viewed it from the back of the boat facing foward, it would be correct. But the screen faces at a 45 from the back.
do you have the screen orentating(sp)
as North up?
or as travel direction up?

Maybe try to re-set up the unit if you have tried everything else.
From Map Page, press MENU then page down to Map Orientation, press ENTER and then page up or down to select the desired mode and then press ENTER.
Note:
In NORTH UP and COURSE UP, the present position arrow appears in the center of the map page, in
TRACKUP, the position arrow appears centered in the lower third of the page.
I’ll have to get back to all of you on this, the GPS is lost in the garage. I tried rotating the map but, it won’t rotate. I’ll need to get back to the lake and have the GPS find the position.
