My unit currently has the 1.2.0 version. Is anyone using the latest, 1.7.0 version, and are you having any problems w/the 1.7.0 version. Thanks in advance!!!

I believe the 1.7.0 V has been out since Dec. ’06, so I’m thinking it might be awhile before the next one comes out? I really want to change the font size for the depth readings, when in the GPS/Sonar split screen mode. Apparantly I can’t do that with the current 1.2.0 version? Thanks, Gregory

I’m interested in this question too. The most appealing aspect of the update is the ability to use the 3000 GPS puck. This would allow me to move my 25C to the bow and interface it with a 113/3000 combo at the console.

Stupid question here, but I just installed a LCX-27 with the 3000 puck. How do I know which version that I am running and whether or not I need to update?

How to see if your LCX-27C is already using version 1.7.0 software:

Press the MENU button twice on your LCX-27C.

    Select SYSTEM SETUP.

    Select SOFTWARE INFORMATION.

The software version for your unit is located under the line that says “LCX-27C” (ex. “Version 1.7.0”).

If your version is the same version listed above, there is no need to download the software.

Thanks dandorn. Looks like the 27s are coming with the latest update.
