Looking for suggestions on what type of registration numbers to put on my boat. My last rig I had them hand painted on which looked nice but I’ve seen some that I believe are vinyl which also look good. Any advice on your preferences would be appreciated. Lunker

If you have the cash and a boat that is worthy any custom graphics shop can make them from vinyl. The last set I had made were chrome with black shadow ..really sharp, and cost a hundred a side. That was several years ago and I expect the prices have gone up.
I would also recommend hiring them to install em,any screw ups belong to them and not you.
Just grab the yellow pages or do a search for graphic design.

I can do lettering. The only problem is I’m so busy right now I can’t fit the time in. I thought by now I’d have time to catch up, but that hasn’t happened yet.

Right now I’m shooting for some free time in 2 weeks.

I’m sure Blue does a great job. If you can’t wait for his schedule to clear up, Sign Pro in LaCrosse did mine (vinyl) a few years back and did a very nice job.

What kind of prices does Sign Pro have for boat letters?

They did both sides in two-tone vinyl and a few words on my motor for about $75. I dealt with the owner Jim and he was very good to work with.

From the pics of Blues work its plain to see that its top notch and a great place to get them done. For those of you who can’t wait due to temporary permits running out for your new boat both Cabelas and Fleet Farm carry 2-tone colored letters/number packets that are nice in their fishing/marine depts.

    Thanks, Bill

I want to extend a big Thanks to Blue for a fine job he did on my lettering.

My letters came in the mail yesterday and I couldn’t be happier.

Now I can’t run around incognito on Wissota posing as a Minnesota boat.
