New H2O C upgrades?

I purchased an H2O C a few weeks ago and checked Lowrance web page and noticed an upgrade for this unit. I checked my Gps and it has the 1.2 version and the upgrade is a 1.1. Do I do it? Also took my Navionics chip out of my 3500 and installed in H2O and scrolled to a lake in my area and noticed nothing like what my 3500 shows. Do I need to change some settings or give it a little more time. I only waited about 5 min till I started playing. Taking her to Miss river in a few days and still learning ins and outs. Thanx, R.D. you have the most recent software.

For future reference Lowrance upgrades are in succession starting at 1.1 then when a revision takes place they label it 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 etc. the bigger number representing the most recent.

As far as the Nav. chip goes, you may have to go into the Map Data icon and select the region desired that includes your target waters. Hope this helps you out.
