Lowarance ???

    Looking to buy a Lowarance X67c for my kayak anyone out there have comments on this unit or other similar units I should look at. Thanks!!!!!

    I think this is a good deal too, though it’s not color and may be a bit bulkier, gps and lakemaps (though maps seem to be more limited on garmin’s) http://www.jollyannsales.com/FFwithGPS/garmin_gpsmap_178.htm

    Nothing bad to say about the x67 for $250…

    The lowrance is probably the better sonar…

    I’ve got one. It is a great little color unit. I use it on the ice and the open water and it performs well for both. Great battery life, sensitive, color, easy to see in sunlight. Don’t know what else to say.
