Minn Kota PD problem

    Last year I purchased a Minn Kota PD, and it has operated just great. I used it this last spring and haven’t used the trolling motor since.The boat has been covered since. Now it doesn’t turn to the right. Everything works on it but the right turn. I took the foot control apart and cleaned things up, figureing maybe it was getting a bad connection, but that didn’t work either. Anyone have any ideas what it could be? Thanks Brad

    Borrow a buddy’s pedal and see if that solves your problem. Those pressure pads in the PD pedals go bad for ALL sorts of reasons, not just from being dirty. Alternatively, borrow a co-pilot and see if that solves your problem.

    If i were a betting man, I’d be betting on the pedal.

    I agree with Jason. It’s probably the pedal. You might try to clean the connection were the pedal connects to the motor too.

    Yep, sounds like the pedal went bad. Happens a lot.

    I lost left on mine ended up being the control board. 15 minutes and $78 later running like new.
