Just wondering if anybody runs this unit? I’m looking for a moderately prices sonar/gps combo and like the swivel feature on hummingbirds as it eliminates a locater on the bow for me. Just wondering what your thoughts are on this unit or other units around the $600 range. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Randy

Randy, I’ve been checking in with a few customers and have talked to Dean about his unit. Folks really seem to like the 787C. Some prefer it to the Lowrance 520C, which is an excellent unit. These would be my top two choices in that price range and I don’t think a guy can go wrong either way.

I have two 787s on my rig and they are working wonderfully. The screens are very easy to see in the sun and the menus are very simple and easy to navigate. These units are every bit as good as anything else out there.

I’ve had a 383c for a couple of months now,Ilike it.But I sure wish I would have stepped up a little more and got a bigger screen.
