Stradic 1000FG

    I was looking at upgrading my reels and was looking at the stradic 1000FG. Looks to be a good reel but am wondering about the size of it. Plan on using it for jigging and pitching jigs. Any input would be grreat.

    I am also looking for a new baitcaster for trolling. Any sugestions? I think I will have to start looking at the okuma line counters that where being talked about awhile ago.
    Since I cant fish today the next best thing is buying fishing tackle. Right. Got to go here comes my wife.

    Did a search on the stradic and found plenty of info. Looks like I did not go wrong with buying one of these.

    I really like the 2500 FH. I have a 1000 series but it seems to be a little small for most walleye applications. The 2500 is not much bigger in size but the spool is a little bigger. In fact, I like that 2500 so much I just picked up 2 more this weekend. I think you would be suprised how close in size the 1000 and 2500 are when you hold them in your hand.
