Spare trailer tires?

    Hey guys I need to get a spare tire for my boat trailer but have no need to by a brand new one just a decent used one that has enough to get me where I need to go incase the need would happen for one. Do dealerships have old used used laying around to get rid of a guy could by for cheap at all? Looking in the Rochester or Red Wing/Lake city area have not looked around yet but just curious thanks for any input

    Erick, you have a northern tool down there by you? Thats usually where I get mine from. Otherwise let me know, I’ll swing over and pick one up for you.

    I got one from Automotive Recyclers in Marion.
    Either measure the hole pattern,or like I did take a wheel with you so they can match it up.
    I checked the Northern route but saved myself about 70 bucks going used.

    I got 2 12 inchers with 4 holes, I’d glady give them to someone who could use them.

    VERY smart idea Erick. I have blown 4 tires over the years and now always make sure I have a spare.

    I have a size 185 on a 13″ steel 5-hole rim in the shed. You can have it if you come get it. The tire is not in the greatest shape, but it will work for a spare. It is one that came stock on my Karavan trailer in 2000. I ran them for a few years til they started wearing funny, then I replaced them. It would work great as a spare, though. Shoot me a PM.
