They’re not as sensitive as an avid and they don’t have the warranty of the avid but they’re a good rod for the money. The 6’9″ rod works well with lighter jigs and is a very solid lindy rig rod.

As for price, I think they’re right around $90.

I have fished the 6’9″ “Smoothie” on Walleye and Bass trips the past month and have been more than satisfied…In the $89.00 price range it is the best Finesse rod out there that I have fished…lighter but similar to a 6’9″ Avid ($160).
I had no trouble sticking tubes in Bass in 18-20 fow with 8# mono…which surprised me for a MLF action…

Dean will let you “test drive” them both! Cant beat that!

I’ll second everything Tom says. I just got back from a week vacation and spent a lot of time using my Limit Creek rod fishing jigs along the deep weedline. Very sensitive and responsive, a joy to fish with. It handled bigger Bass and Northerns very well inspite of it’s “medium light” designation.

I bought mine for rigging but found it to also be excellent for casting small lures or jigs.
