Figured out my 90 Ficht, I’m loving it.

I figured that since I posted my complaint about my FICHT , I should follow it up with how the problem was solved. The problem was bad gas. Yes, that’s right, after all the trouble I had trying to get it to run right, it had bad gas in the boat tank, the shop figured it out when they hooked it up to their shop tank, and it ran like a top, then to my boat tank, and it missed and sputtered. After burning all the bad gas out and filling it with new, it runs perfect. I fished on a lake in NW Ontario all week last week, after fishing all day long for 7 days, I burned a grand total of 32 gallons of gas, 2 less than my dad did with his Yamaha 80 4 stroke (same boat), and I trolled for probably about 15 hours total, motor never missed a beat. I’m very pleased with my motor, just thought I should update my complaint.
