For setting up Dean with oil!

I carry a spare quart in my boat…for the time(s) that annoying low oil horn goes off. Having a replacement at Everts is down right handy.

Unless you “run it like you stole it” , be careful of that stuff in super hot/humid weather. Had to have my 2001 Johnson 115 carbs all serviced , all buggered gummed up & wouldent idle due to the oil. Good for high rpm situations though , not idle & slow speeds. ( its racing oil )

With using the Klotz outboard oil?
I have never heard of that – in fact, just the opposite.
The people that switch over and start using it say how much nicer it is as low idle / slow speeds as it doesn’t seem to load up like other oils do. It mixes well and burns clean.

I’m on my fourth gallon as I speak. I have a hard time telling any differance in performance…but then I don’t have computers hooked up to my motor all the time.

Although anyone that rides with me certainly wouldn’t call me a “racer”…I don’t putt along either.

The pic is from my center cylinder. Besides being a little blurry…sure don’t look like it’s been loaded up to me.
