    The other alternative is to attach your ropes at the bow and stern where your winch hooks up and your tie downs for trailering. Then you can avoid the holes or vents.

    Try chapstick for lubing those snaps. Anyone know wher I can buy the replacements for theLund sliding snaps other than from Lund?

    I bet that snap tool would help reduce broken snaps big time. I’ve used it on my buddy’s boat and they come undone really easy. I think he bought it at his boat dealer.

    Snap Wax ended my snap breaking issues. Never use the tool anymore.
