I figured I’d see if there are any IDA’er that are in this like of work, or a recommendation of a good company.

This is for my mother’s home. Her outside unit quit working. She had someone out to look at it and he said it needs replacing.

    Thanks,

    Jon

Try comfort plus heating & cooling. 651-426-4233. They are based out of Centerville. Personally had good experience with them Feb last year. Also, I’m about to get a quote on a new furnace. I expect it to be fair price, straight shooters.

GHC Home Services in North Saint Paul. I bought an A/C unit and furnace from him for the last house we owned and installed it myself. He was very helpful. It’s been a few years, but I believe his name is Dave. 651-779-7214. He was great about a couple warranty issues, and actually made a service call on one of those first cold nights in October and delivered me a part I needed AT NO CHARGE! Great guy!

Did she get any bids on the A/C, how many tons, what brand, and how much? I’m in the HVAC service in Madison, just so she doesn’t spend too much by some guy who is trying to sell her more than what she needs.
