    I am considering buying a troll master and have a few questions:

    Can you still use you normal remote trottle when not using the trollmaster device?

    What do the buttons do/represent on the pro series. (MFT, Idle/Run)

    I know many of you would not troll without one. How does it perform in windy/ wavy conditions compared to a nomal remote throttle arm?

    Yes, you can still run your kicker as usual when the Trollmaster is not on.

    MFT is momentary full throttle. This is very handy in windy conditions. With a push of a button you have full throttle.
    Idle. This switch kicks your kicker back to idle (still in gear). This is handy for bringing in a fish. When you switch the Trollmaster back to run you resume trolling at your previous speed.

    If you do much trolling you will love the Trollmaster. It is a must have in my boat.
