I am re-doing a lund renegade and need to purcahse a livewell (the tank itself was removed prior to me purchaseing boat). Cabelas has a nice one, but it’s back ordered….any other suggestions? or, any ideas on an “out of the box” solution for the tank itself?

I ran into a similar problem several years ago when I was redoing an older boat. I wasn’t able to find an out-of-the-box livewell to fit the area I needed it to fit. I’ve been in the custom sign manufacturing business since 1979 and we fabricate mostly everything out of aluminum. Our shop manager helped me bend and weld up a tank custom made to fit the area in the boat. It took less than half an hour to fabricate the box. You might consider going to a sheet metal fabricator and having them bend one up for you. You can seal the seams with silicone. The hose fittings are readily available and so is the water tight sealant you will need to caulk the fittings. I think the entire thing with hoses and fittings cost me less than $40. I used a length of PVC pipe with small holes drilled along the length, a valve and an end cap for the aerator. Our shop manager only requested that I take him fishing which I gladly did.

Try this guy north of Faribault and west of I35. He has more stuff than you can imagine around his yard and polebarn. He is a member on here (VAL) but not very active. More so on FM

I second the KVE Surplus vote for Val.
I was down picking up a pontoon console 2 weeks ago and he has a pole barn with pallets of Lund, Alum, Crestliner OEM parts.
Be sure to call since he doesn’t advertise most items that are too large to ship! He has all the hose, valves and fittings you need also. He hust might have a livewell that will work.

    Good Luck,

    Ferny.
