What Data Can Be Shared on a Lowrance Network?

Here’s my setup: LMS-332C at the helm, LMS-332C at the bow, and the LGC-2000 GPS module. Both units pick up the GPS data fine and I know the sonar data takes up too much bandwith to share. But, I thought depth and maybe temp could be shared. And, if so, is it just added as overlay data? Any input is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Cory

Thanks Wade. That certainly makes sense, but when I go to the overlay data screen, I don’t see the other head unit to add data from. Also, when I go into the network setup, it allows you to name each device, but that does not seem to commit to memory since it defaults when I power cycle it. I have flashed both units to the 1.8 version. Thanks again.

From what I understand, you’ll need to go to the buss setup and show that you are sharing temp., then check the overlay data as well.

Thanks for the great info, Wade! I have the exact same setup in the Crestliner….two 332c units, and I’d also love to have the temp up front. I’m going to read up on it and see what I can find out.

    cwindingland,
If you get it figured out, help a brother out!
    Thanks guys…..
