Bow Mount Quick Release ??’s

    I’ve used the interlocking aluminum plates by MinnKota
    and found them to be irritatingly noisy. (MKA-16)

    Anyone have any luck with the composite puck style
    MinnKota # MKA-21. I like how it frees up the deck
    when the motor is removed.

    I just installed the new “puck” a week ago. Only one trip so far, but I think it is just great. It’s not a super solid mount, but then again with a power drive, nothing is a rock solid mount. I put my ram mount stabilizer on today and that improved it. The best part is how clean the deck is when you have the motor off. Very nice design.

    I just put one under my new Terrova. It seams like a good mount. It does make for a much cleaner deck.

    Yup that’s the one I have on my terrova too, seems to work just fine, but my setup is a little weird overall.
