    Guys
got a new ifinder h2oc and a new 07 north chip. Having trouble getting the map to work. tryed to load the info from the chip to the ifinder just like the manual says to do. when you go to the hit the load button nothing happens. It’s just something simple that I’m not doing right for sure, but I don’t know what it is. I thought the chips were just plug and play.
Anyone have this set up to help me out?
Can anyone talk me through the upload of chip info to the ifinder?
Can you view the chips info at home, or do you have to be at the lake to see the info?
    thanks

    Matt,

See top of page 80 in your manual.

You have to tell the unit to read your specific map.

You are not loading the info off the chip into your

unit, it just reads the info off the chip until you

    tell it to stop.

pm me if you need more help.

the info should plug and play. have u tried to look and see if it is on ther. zoom way in and see if the lake depth contour lines show up if not i would, i would see if maybe the chip is bad or your ifinder isn’t accepting the info off the card. one of the two. but it should normally just work just have to zoom in a bit to see it

It’s not plug and play you have to select the correct region on the Navionics Chip, the Lakemaster Chip is plug and play.
