    I have a new marine radio to install . Is their any no’s ,no’s I have to look out for ? Thanks

    pay close attention to the instructions on the antenna as they are very important also!! the soldering on the antenna wire is something to make sure is done right! it can be a go or no go

    just read the directions! no major deal……..good luck

    You DON”T want to have your GPS Puck within three feet I believe of your antenna.

    Good point, I used the solderless connector and I’ll be changing that out this spring. Get the right connector!

    If I find the part number from Radio Shack, I’ll post it here.

    The other thing I have heard is don’t transmit without your ant. connected.
